York Spring Fair & Food Festival aims to showcase a range of artisan products from Yorkshire and beyond – award-winning gins and preserves, savoury and sweet treats, as well as cheeses to please. You can also enjoy a range of other stalls from stationery to gifts, books to candles, and even gourmet dog-food! 

Reawaken your taste buds and support local traders after the long months of lockdown. Enjoy their delicious products as well as the banter! 
 
Fresh takeaway delights will be available from a number of stalls – try delicious seafood, wood-fired pizzas, prime Yorkshire burgers, award-winning Yorkshire cheeses, Greek street food or a kebab from the Istanbul Grill, and then finish off with a Chock Shop brownie, a coffee from The Little Yorkshire Coffee Company, or a Mini-Melts ice cream! 
 
An extensive area of picnic tables - outdoors and undercover - will be available for you to sit and sample your purchases, as well as soak up the convivial ambience. The tables will be regularly cleaned.

A restored double decker bus – the Yorkshire Bus Bar – will add more than a touch of colour and novelty, serving primarily Yorkshire beverages including fabulous local gins and Yorkshire’s finest ales from its brand-new beer dispensing system. 
 
Enjoy cocktails and gins from the Hedgerow Cocktail Bar, and visit York Gin's stand for a masterclass on making the perfect tipple. 
 
No funfair would be complete without candy floss, plus there'll be toffee apples and even a specialist marshmallow stand! To complete a fun day out treat the kids (or adults!) to face-painting and a helium balloon!

From an uber-cool Airstream van, tuck into a bavette steak sandwich with caramelised onions, homemade aioli and twice-cooked chips, or try the marinated steak with mango pico de gallo, or the local crab with lemon paprika aioli. Oh and check out the onion blossoms….

Serving a range of delicious barista coffees roasted in York and artisan cakes hand-baked in Pocklington (including gluten free and vegan options) from a vintage Citroen van. A Baileys latte anyone?

Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, churros are Spain’s answer to the donut and make a delicious sweet treat. Dough sticks coated in crystalised cinnamon sugar – perfect for dunking in a wicked little pot of chocolate sauce.

Pocklington-based Taste of Yorkshire supply delis and farm shops all over the UK with their gorgeous tasting range of ‘rite good’ biscuits and nibbles, from harissa and lemon oaten biscuits to chocolate shortbread bites.

Serving Dutch-style seafood, including prawns, squid rings, cod and fish burgers, as well as chicken, meat and veggie burgers. Look out for their black and orange van and enjoy a taste of Holland.

A traditional funfair wouldn't be complete without the funfair favourite - candyfloss! There's also toffee apples, sweets and lots of other yummy treats!

A coffee connoisseur's delight. Four friends with a love of great coffee decided to create a brand that filled the coffee void on the Yorkshire coast – a company that would make it easy for people to enjoy really, really good coffee. Ethically sourced and outrageously delicious!

Visit the Greek Street Food stand and tuck in to gyros, halloumi fries and mixed platters of Greek taste sensations!

York Gin makes six world-class gins in York's only distillery, using traditional methods perfected over centuries. Masterclasses on making the perfect tipple will be available throughout the day.

Be sure to stop at the Chock Shop and tuck into a fresh, hand-crafted, artisan chocolate brownie. They’re round in shape so you get the sweetest softest heart of the brownie, and come in a tantalising choice of flavours - crunchy peanut butter, sticky toffee and rocky road are firm favourites or you could go for something naughtier - Amaretto, or Hennessy Cognac?

You'll easily spot their cute, strawberry pink striped kiosk - the difficult part will be choosing from a delicious array of flavours!

Hand-made fresh every morning using free range eggs and locally sourced meats in a variety of flavours. Mr Murray’s Scotch Eggs can be served hot and soft boiled with a garnish as a salad box with fries to eat on the go while you browse the other stalls, or can be packed up cold for you to take home and feast upon. Seriously tasty!
